WWE’s famous anchor Kayla Braxton has described herself as a ‘product of rape’, that is, an illegitimate child born after rape. He said- My mother was raped. She got pregnant and then I came into this world. Even today I do not know who my father is.
Braxton’s statement did not come suddenly. Actually, the US Supreme Court has banned abortion in the past. That is, the right of abortion has been taken away from women. This anchor was commenting on this matter and the story of her birth was also heard.
Braxton, 31, called herself a ‘product of rape’, protesting against abortion . Said on social media- My mother was raped by a stranger. I was born after that cruelty. I still don’t know who is my biological father. Law should not be imposed on any woman. If a woman wants, she can give birth to a child, if she does not want, let her decide for herself. Women should have the freedom to make their own choices and decisions.
The US Supreme Court on Friday overturned a 50-year-old decision related to abortion after 50 years of abortion . The court has struck down the constitutional protection women had of abortion in the 1973 Roe v. Wade case. After this decision the country is divided into two factions. One section is strongly opposing, the other is welcoming it as historical.
Since the ‘Roe vs. Wade’ verdict in 1973, there have been about 50 million abortions legally in the US. At the same time, in 2020 alone, one out of every 5 American women had an abortion.
Why was it called ‘Roe vs. Wade’?
Norma McCorvey, who is known to the world today as ‘Jane Roe’, fought to get abortion legal in 1969. Norma challenged a state law in 1969 that made abortion illegal. The matter reached the US Supreme Court and they won. When Jane Roe petitioned to have the abortion legal, public prosecutor Henry Wade argued the protest. Because of this the case became known worldwide as ‘Roe vs. Wade’. This decision made Jane Roe famous in every household of America.
