In the Canadian province of Ontario, some miscreants vandalized the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Richmond Hill on Wednesday. York Police has described the incident as a hate crime. Police spokesman Amy Boudreau said that some miscreant has damaged the statue by writing words like ‘rapist’ and ‘Khalistan’. York Police will not tolerate hate crime in any form. People who harass others on the basis of race, nationality, ethnic origin, language, color, religion, age, sex will be prosecuted.
