Both the paths of Amarnath cave are unpaved. The roads are so narrow that even the horses are sent one by one. There are temporary tents around the cave. Those who stay near the building have to stay in these temporary camps. When the clouds burst on Friday, many temporary camps were also washed away.
The cloudburst occurred within a radius of one to two kilometers from the holy cave. Around 25 tents and two to three langars set up for the devotees were washed away due to the strong current.
